Information for Young People

What is it?

The Apprenticeship in Enterprise pilot is a chance to gain employment within a Fife business and work towards a brand new work based qualification. You will be undertaking an apprenticeship with a local employer and you will ‘earn while you learn’.

You will get the opportunity to take a leadership role within the organisation to gain valuable skills and experience as well as developing yourself whilst following an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Enterprising Skills in a Business Environment. The Enterprise apprenticeship will usually take 8-12 months to complete.

Is it for me?

We are looking for young people from all over Fife to take part in this exciting new apprenticeship program.

By being employed by a local company you will be given all the training and support that you will need to develop your professional skills, whilst also using your own creativity and initiative to develop your enterprise skills and add value to your employer's business. Often the new ideas brought in by a young person can be refreshing and help revive an organisation.

You could be helping your employer to engage with the youth market or just provide a fresh new way of doing things. Either way you’ll be making a big difference to them and developing yourself.

We are looking for enthusiastic young people from all backgrounds to apply for these exciting opportunities – if you are good at motivating yourself, coming up with ideas and have a ‘can do’ attitude then you will be perfect!
